What equipment do I need?

Some classes will require you to bring your own step. Be sure to check the details of the class on our class calendar or contact your instructor to confirm whether or not a step is provided for the class you are attending. It’s always a good idea to take a water bottle with you to stay hydrated during class.

How hard is it?

I don’t want to go to class and feel dumb because I don’t know the routines!

Each routine is made up of 3 or 4 more moves that repeat throughout the song, so the class is as easy to follow as any average aerobics class. Our favorite modification to suggest to new students is to follow the routine without using the step first. Every move can be done without the step, then when you feel comfortable enough to begin doing the move with the step, you can add it in! 

How long is the class?

Any StepIt class you attend will be between 45-60 minutes long and will contain a warm-up, cardio tracks, sculpting tracks and a cool-down.
