Briana has enjoyed health and fitness from an early age. She’s always been intrigued with nutrition and movement. From the first grade to her High School Graduation, Briana packed her own lunches to ensure they were yummy & healthy. Briana played soccer and danced while growing up. Movement has always been a huge part of her life. After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication, she searched and searched for something to fill that void. When she taught her first group fitness class she found her place. She thought, “Yes, this is it!” Ever since, she’s been teaching 5 fitness classes a week, while hosting nutrition and fitness challenges. “I truly believe that when we feel good, we do good. Maggie spent 5 years as a P.E. teacher and obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in English and Master’s Degree in Elementary Education during her time teaching. Although she loved inspiring her students to live healthy lifestyles, she always felt that entrepreneurship was a more fitting path for her. Her passion for business was realized after leaving the school system and finding success as a Mortgage Loan Originator, but, of course, she still felt something was missing as her creativity and abilities to lead and inspire others were no longer being shared with the world. When the opportunity arose to co-create StepIt, Maggie’s love for both fitness and entrepreneurship made a great combo for the job! She is passionate about building a program that provides students with an insanely fun workout and instructors with a platform that supports their success. Her goal is to create a company culture that encourages leadership, creativity, and self-worth for everyone involved!
